Dog Noir

Here’s a noir portrait of our standard poodle, Tuli. He’s doing his Bogart impression, which is even better when he has a cigarette.

I used one remote SB-900 high to the right. Shot at 135mm; 1/250 sec at f/5.6 for the shadowy shepherd in the background. That, by the way, is Haley and she adds a menacing, cinematic touch.

Off the set, the she shadows Tuli all the time; roughs him up like a junkyard heavy. In a weird way it’s  “a beautiful friendship.”

It might make a good film.
