Nikon, Noir, & Notes

This is a portrait of my trusty 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED AF-S DX VR Zoom Nikkor. And with a name that long it’s suitable for the Pentagon. It’s mounted on a D300s in preparation for the Street Peek feature in next month’s issue. You may also want to check out the May issue’s 12 Must-Have Accessories for the Nikon D300s. Yep, it’s going to be a big Nikon issue.

But that’s not all… we’ll be  featuring a gallery of sexy photos by Diana Scheunemann, who may or may not be a Nikon shooter, I’ll have to ask her.

Plus plenty of book reviews, of course, since Zoom Street covers more books per month than any publication on the web—photography, art, fiction, you name it. And speaking of fiction, I’ve got my weekend reading all lined up as Robert Coover‘s new novel, Noir, just blew in the door.

That’s my idea of Spring Break.

Here’s wishing you a fab weekend and a spooky touch of fog.
