The “Major Motion Picture” based on my forthcoming book, SHOOT TO THRILL: A HARD-BOILED GUIDE TO DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY, is in production in L.A. and San Diego. The whole epic is being shot with the Nikon D90 D-SLR shown above. As you might imagine, there are more than a few limitations and constraints, including a budget well-below $200. You can read more about the making of this Noir classic and see some clips of the evolving opening credits on the book’s Cinema page.
For those too tired to surf, here are a few stills from the title sequence.
You can Pre-order the damn book now at Barnes & Noble, Borders, and Amazon. Rumor has it the first edition will sell out fast & be a collector’s item, since it’s the first technical book written like a novel (or vice versa).
Don’t say you weren’t warned.
